Amen

A word that expresses agreement, truth, and affirmation. 

It originates from ancient Hebrew and means “so be it,” “truly,” or “let it be so.”

In the Bible, Amen is often spoken at the end of prayers or declarations to confirm that the words are sincere and true. It is also used to show unity in faith—agreeing with God’s will and trusting in His promises.

When believers say Amen, they are essentially saying:
“Yes, I believe this,”
“This is true,”
“Let it be fulfilled according to God’s will.”

Saying Amen is more than a tradition—it is an act of faith. It reflects:

• Trust in God’s word 
• Agreement with truth 
• Hope for fulfillment

In The Bible, Amen is also used by Jesus Christ to emphasize truth, 

often translated as “Truly, truly, I say to you…”.

Amen = “Yes, it is true. Let it be so.”
